Range, Battery and Charging

The Kona EV can go up to 415 km on a full charge. What’s super cool about this EV is the regenerative braking system that your fingertips can control with paddles behind the steering wheel. The left paddle increases energy recovery by upping deceleration, while the right paddle decreases regeneration for a more natural coast when braking.

Although you can charge the Hyundai Kona Electric on a 120-volt household outlet, the 240-volt outlet is best for at-home charging.

Although the Kona isn’t famous for its cargo space, you can fit 5 carry-on suitcases in the trunk and 15 if you put the rear seats down.
